There are 138 golf courses located in all regions of Denmark. During the last 15 years golf has become more and more popular resulting in golf courses in all Danish medium-sized cities. Often the courses are situated in areas with a beautiful nature.

The Danish courses are known as being very hospitable. They have a long tradition for permitting players from outside to play with a quest status. However, in most clubs you need to show a documentation for your handicap and your membership a golf club. If you contact the administration of the club they will inform you about the prices - the so-called green-fees - as well as the handicap limit, if any.

The training facilities of the Danish clubs are generally of a very high standard. There are some fine driving ranges, putting greens and bunker areas. You will often find cosy restaurants with reasonable prices in connection to the clubs.
